| Anonymous Call Rejection |
Block calls from calling parties that have made their
number private. |
To Use:
Lift the receiver and listen for dial tone. Press *77.
Listen for a confirmation tone or
announcement that the service is turned on.
To Cancel:
Lift the receiver and listen for dial tone. Press *87.
Listen for a confirmation tone or announcement that
the service is turned off.

Automatic Callback
(*69) |
Dial *69 and automatically call back the last call made
to your number. A recording will identify the in-coming
number, then you have the option to complete the return
call or hang up. |
To Use:
Dial *69 and hear a message with the number of the
last incoming call, along with the time and date of
call. If you wish to return the call, Press 1.
If you do not wish to return the call, hang up.
If the line is busy, a voice message will inform you.
Hang up.
Automatic Callback will try to reach the number for
30 minutes.
You will hear a short-short-long ring when the line
is free, and the call will automatically be made when
you lift the handset.
(limitations may apply)

| Call Forwarding |
Automatically forwards calls to another number. There
are 3 options – forward all calls, forward calls when
busy, forward calls when no answer. |
To Use – Call Forwarding ALL:
Dial *72 then listen for three beeps and a steady dial
tone.
Dial the telephone number to which calls will be forwarded,
when party answers, advise party of call forwarding.
All calls will then forward to the number. If party
does not answer, or line is busy, repeat procedure immediately.
Listen for beeps and dial tone, hang up. Call forwarding
will be active. Your telephone will ring once each time
your number is called to remind you that call forwarding
is active.
You cannot answer the calls. You can still call out
with call forwarding active.
To cancel the call forwarding dial *73.
To Use – Call Forwarding BUSY:
Dial *90 then listen for three beeps and a steady dial
tone.
Dial the telephone number to which calls will be forwarded,
when party answers, advise party of call forwarding.
All busy calls will then forward to the number. If party
does not answer, or line is
busy, repeat procedure immediately.
Listen for beeps and dial tone, hang up. Call forwarding
will be active. To cancel, dial *91. You can still call
out with call forwarding active.
To Use – Call Fowarding NO ANSWER:
Dial *92 then listen for three beeps and a steady
dial tone.
Dial the telephone number to which calls will be forwarded,
when party answers, advise party of call forwarding.
All non-answered calls will then forward to the number.
If party does not answer, or line is busy, repeat procedure
immediately. Listen for beeps and dial tone, hang up.
Call forwarding will
be active.
To cancel, dial *93. You can still call out with call
forwarding active.

| Call Hold |
Allows any call in progress to be put “on hold”
in order to make another call, answer an in-coming call,
consult privately with another party, or return a previously
held call. |
To Use:
Depress the hookswitch once to put on hold. Press
again to release from hold.

| Call Transfer |
Transfer a phone call to another phone number and drop
out of the conversation. |
To Use:
Depress hookswitch. Dial the phone number you wish
to transfer the call to. Hang up and the call will be
transferred.

| Call Waiting |
Signals with a beep when another call is coming in. The
current call can be put on hold and the second call answered.
Can switch between calls. |
To Use – CALL WAITING:
To end the first conversation and begin the second
just hang up. Your telephone will immediately ring back
with the second call. To put the first call on "hold",
press and release the hookswitch.
You are now connected with the second call. To return
to your first call, press and release the hookswitch
again. You can switch back and forth between callers
as often as you like.
To Use – CANCEL CALL WAITING:
Press *70, listen for three beeps, then dial tone.
Dial the number you want to call.

| Call waiting on Caller ID |
Displays the number of another in-coming call while on
the phone (requires viewing device). |

| Distinctive Ring/ Call Waiting |
Program a select list of numbers into your phone and receive
a special ring when receiving a call from those numbers.
(cannot be used with Selective Call Acceptance) |
To Use:
Press *61. Listen to the voice instructions which
will guide you through the steps of how to turn Priority
Ring on or off and make changes to your Priority Ringing
list.

| Do Not Disturb |
Prevents incoming calls from ringing. The caller will
hear a busy signal unless they have your PIN to override
the feature. |
To Use:
To activate this feature, dial *78. To deactivate
this feature, dial *79.
To program your PIN, dial *10, enter PIN Number after
the beep (1 to 7 numbers
of your choice), depress the # button to accept the
PIN Number.
When callers receive a busy signal, they can enter
the PIN Number to
override Do Not Disturb.

| Number Change Recording |
Recording gives new telephone number if changed. |
To Use:
Call Allendale Communications before your number is
disconnected to request a recording.

| Private Call Unblocking: |
Allows private numbers to be unblocked to allow calls
to go through to Voice Mail systems, parties with Anonymous
block on the line, or to a Caller ID display. |
To Use:
Dial *82 before dialing the number to your voice mail
box or another number.

| Repeat Dialing: |
Dial *66 to automatically redial a busy number until the
line is free. Alerts the call is going through with a special
ring.

To Use:
After you receive a busy signal, hang up or press the hookswitch,
dial *66, then hang up again.
Your phone will keep trying to ring the number for 30 minutes,
unless you deactivate (*86) Repeat Dialing |
Select Call Acceptance: |
Create a list of phone numbers to allow as an in-coming
call. Calls from numbers not on the select list receive
an announcement that calls are not being received at this
time. (cannot be used with Distinctive Ring). |
To Use:
Press *64. Listen to the voice instructions which will guide
you through the steps of how to turn Call Acceptance on
or off. Make changes to your Selective Call Acceptance list. |
| Select Call Forwarding: |
Create a list of phone numbers to be forwarded to another
number. Calls from numbers not on the select list will ring
through as normal. |
To Use:
Press *63. Listen to the voice instructions which will guide
you through the steps of how to turn Selective Call Forwarding
on or off. Make changes to your Selective Call Forwarding
list. Voice instructions will also guide you through the
steps of how to enter, confirm, or change the number to
which your calls will be forwarded. |
Select Call Rejection: |
Create a list of phone numbers which will not be allowed
to ring through. |
To Use:
Press *60. Listen to the voice instructions which will guide
you through the steps of how to turn Call Screening on or
off. Make changes to your Call Screening list. After receiving
an annoying call, you may wish to prevent that person from
calling you in the future. Call Screening's voice instructions
will explain how to add the number of the last caller to
your list (even if you do not know the party's number ). |
| Speed Dial: (8 or 30 numbers) |
Dial frequently called numbers with only 1 or 2 pre-programmed
digits. |
To Program digits:
(8 Number Option) Dial 74# for 1-Digit Speed Calling
(codes 2-9)
(30 Number Option) Dial 75# for 2-Digit Speed Calling
(codes 20-49).
Listen for three beeps and a steady dial tone.
Enter Speed Calling code (2-9 or 20-49).
Dial desired telephone number, depress # then listen
for three beeps.
Hang up.
To Use:
Dial desired Speed Calling code (2-9 or 20-49), then
press # .

| Toll Control with PIN |
Block all toll calls unless the override code (*13)
and PIN are entered.
The default PIN is 1234. See next column to reset this
PIN to your own
selection. Your PIN may be from 2 to 7 digits. |
To Modify your PIN:
1. Dial the PIN change access code (*12).
2. Wait for dial tone.
3. Dial the old PIN (1234).
4. Wait for dial tone.
5. Dial the new PIN (2-7 digits).
6. Wait for confirmation tone.
Control with PIN feature:
1. Dial Access Code (*13).
2. Wait for a second dial tone.
3. Dial your PIN and press #.
4. Wait for dial tone.
5. Dial the toll number you wish to call.

Three-way calling: |
Add a third party to an existing telephone call. |
To Use:
Make the first call then press and release the hookswitch
to put your first call on hold. You will hear three
beeps and then dial tone. Dial the number of the third
party you wish to add to the call. When the call is
answered, press and release the hookswitch to complete
the three way call.

Warm Line: |
Calls a pre-set number or emergency service when the handset
is lifted. |
To Use: Lift handset and wait. (Within 14 seconds the
predesignated number will be dialed automatically.)
If you do not wish to dial the predesignated number, you
may dial any other number before 14 seconds have elapsed. |
Voice Mail: |
Allows you to record, store and retrieve messages after
a set number of rings, and/or if line is busy. If you have
messages, it notifies you, if programmed, at another telephone
number of your choice. You can call your Voice Mailbox
from any telephone to receive or delete your messages, or
change your recording. |
